On April 2nd, Washington Governor Jay Inslee extended his “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order until May 4th. With this announcement, the state has closed non-essential businesses and banned large gatherings and social events. At this time, the Palouse Roots Country Music Festival has been postponed to September 11, 2020. The festival will still be held in Pullman, WA.
For those who have already registered and would still like to attend in September, there is no need to register again. For those who have registered and cannot attend, you can pass on your ticket to a substitute participant, or you can call our number and receive a full refund. Until we can celebrate our favorite country hits together, Palouse Roots is partnering with iHeartRadio to bring our audience a virtual, live concert on May 16th. Country stars including Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, Old Dominion, Hunter Hayes and Maddie and Tae will be performing live from their homes. Using Twitter, send in pictures of you and your family with the hashtag, #LivingRoomRhythms and we will feature you on the livestream! We encourage you to follow our social media platforms and blog to stay updated as changes are made daily. We will be sharing news and insights regarding the virtual concert on May 16th and the festival in September. Despite these changes, we are still planning to kick off the summer with country rhythms from the comfort of our homes! If you have any questions, feel free to connect with us using our email, [email protected]. We would love to hear from you!
